At XP we believe in a client-led, coach-guided approach to transitions. You are in the driver's seat with your coach as your navigator, helping you discover the right decisions for your individual journey to a healthier, happier you. About your coach: Kitija Kaulina-Tentere
Kitija is our dedicated nutrition coach with a unique background in figure skating. Having traversed the demanding world of figure skating, she intimately understands the struggles of maintaining a healthy relationship with food. Alongside her passion for figure skating, Crossfit and fitness became a dedication as an adult. With both of these experiences, she has seen firsthand the misconceptions around nutrition, especially on social media, making it difficult to decipher the correct pathway to optimal health and increased energy.
Her everyday encounters were the ultimate drive to seek more knowledge and illuminate the path toward a simpler, healthier relationship with food. Coming from a sporting background that did not always aid in healthy nutrition long-term habits, Kitija can empathize with negative feelings about food choices and firmly believes that these associations have no place in the nutrition world.
In 2023, Kitija achieved certification as a Nutrition Coach from the esteemed Precision Nutrition Certification Program. Highly regarded in the health and fitness industry, this certification equips coaches with evidence-based practices to make a meaningful impact on their clients' lives. Recognizing that we're all unique individuals with distinct preferences, tastes, and perspectives on nutrition, she advocates for an approach that celebrates this diversity striving to create a safe, judgment-free space where favorite foods, cultural influences, and personal connections to meals are honored. This space is one of celebration, not restriction.
Harnessing the tools within us, steering clear of cookie-cutter meal plans and unnecessary product purchases, Kitija will help customers cultivate a stress-free bond with food that nurtures both body and soul.
